THE HEIST

*Final*

Agent 44, King of Stealing is stealing some money for an easy mission. He has been captured and what will happen!!

This was a group object, we started with the idea of a battle between a cop and a gangsta. But we all had different ideas. We finally agreed on the same story. The story of an agent stealing money for a short mission. He was so relaxed that he got caught from a simple crime. That is the start of the film. The concept of this story was to show even the best of the best still get caught if you cheat. But if your good enough you can find a way to escape.

The storyboard was tedious and was a lot of writing. We all had are jobs to make our project deadline. We started filming our film. Their are problems even if your as awesome as me. The continuity, quicker cuts and audio is what I can improve on. In the post editing process, I did my best to put the shots into a presentable film.

I learned that you need to have quicker cuts in the film for a fast paced film. To film as much as you can on that day for no continuity problems. And finally the audio so the quality of sound will feel nice and real for the spectators.

I thought that this was a fun project to work on.

Austin, Dakota, and myself created this project. There were times when I thought we weren't gonna finish put we pulled through. This project we created was made through the creative minds of our group. We used many skills our teacher has taught us. For example when making an animation. I first created it in maya. Dakota animated it using S to create key frames. Then I batch rendered the animation and set it in after effects to make the rest of the project. I had a lot of fun making this project because it let me use my creative mind and merge it with the rest of my group.

The process of making was tedious but we learned a lot. For example in after effects we learned to key out parts of the background so the object which was me could be in a different area. That was one of my favorite parts of the project.

The scope of the goal was to make our movie as cheesy as possible. As a kid I played mine craft a lot so I used that as an inspiration. In the film I teleport to the mine c
raft world and get shocked to the doom. We filmed at the green screen so this was possible. Learned about 3 pt lighting and that shadows on the green screen can create problems.

The Chroma Key Processes
1. Magician’s Medium:
How is this used? The Use of mattes for mutliple Exposures
 2. Williams Process: How is the Williams Proccess Used? Increasing the contrast in the images.
 3. Dunning Process: What is important to this Process? Being able to split the colors blue and yellow.
4. Yellow Screen: Why is it called the yellow screen? Because the red blue and green are split from the yellow color
 5. Color Matte Difference: How many process are there? This complicated process required 12 film elements
6. Digital Process: Why is this common use today? Green is less used in costumes.

Snowflakes: I started my snowflakes out using tools such as mirror geometry and duplicate special in the beginning making the beautiful snowflakes. Then I had to start animating the snowflakes and used the graph editor and the animation on the bottom of maya to make the snowflakes fall and twirl.

To Understand the creativity that goes through Alex Gable, I interviewed him about BOY SCOUTS!

He is happy to acknowledge his determination for Eagle Scout: an HIGH RANK.

I went through difficulty like swimming in lava difficulty finding the right sound bytes to complete my Interview.

My Video could still use some work but I thought it was Nice. :)

Tools

I used Create Polygon tool first then the Mirror Geometry in Mesh, and finally i used Duplicate Specialin Edit

I used the mesh booliance and difference with a 3 cylinders which were vertical, horizontal, and another vertical which is 180 degrees to the other vertical cylinder in placement then they were booliance and difference to get the holes. I went to the rendering to get the lights and make the shadow.

I used bump mapping to get the texture of the ice-cream and the bumps on the cone. I stopped at 359 for the loop to flow more smoothly.

The keyframes were hard to get to make the bounce that was the hardest part. I used S to place the keyframe.

I used the create nurds tool to create a quarter of the glass then i used the revolve tool that created the cup.
I used the create polygons tool to get the base of the salt shaker then used lofting to get the general outline of the salt shaker.
