Magnificent improvement in a Video Production Course
The past few weeks have been exciting, I have been learning new concepts to understand. I was deeply into the documentaries that my partner and I have created. Our class worked on two different documentaries. One was the annual and exciting Blood Drive, that our student council at Olathe Northwest created. The second documentary was the Lego Day documentary. I developed new skills after the Lego Day Documentary.

Lego Day Interview contrasting with Blood Drive Interview
The differences between the two Documentaries are a lot. Those things don't matter because it is
what you learn from that matters. The different
things that I have learned from this experience
were how to finish and make the JL edits.
There were 2 ways to make the JL edits.
One was the detaching the audio and making
the JL edits. The other nifty way to make it was
using the whole clip and making the edits.

Jark the hammer

In my majestic hammer I have built through maya, I will tell you the interesting parts of the hammer and what I learned from this project. I learned to unselect the faces together to get the claw and then I added an exquisite iron texture.

I  used extrude to add a selected division and extruded the part again to extend to get the general outline of the hammer. On the handle I had trouble when making the End. It took time. This hammer was forged the the epic fires of haphestas.

Another section I had trouble but got through was the beveling on the hammer. I would change the hammer to look gold next time. The skill it took to make this Magic hammer was awesome

My animation story:

The animation story was composed of all we had learned in the quarter. I had chose my story of the shark eating a jellyfish then dying because the jellyfish stings. The jelly fish survives and freely swims around happily ever after except for the shark.

I used key points to move the shark from one place to another. In this case the shark was swimming towards the jelly fish as a source of food. I used the puppet pin tool for the jelly fish and the wave for the objects to move around

The Show Goes On

The scope of the project was to use what we had learned from our previous projects to make this music video project a lot better.

The Pre-Production of this project was about learning all of the story and putting them into good shots. I learned along the way the more shots you take; the more you have to work with.

I also learned how to put markers in the music area so we could have the beat on a good part of the film.

I would add more shots. The variety of shots. I will use the people who criticize my work to enhance my project by learning of what I had done wrong and what to do better next time.

Overall I think I did pretty good with this music video. I had fun making it and learned great things.

Donald the Duck.

In this scene every time Donald's Cousin takes a step his hat bounces. That is plausible effect, but the fact that the hat bounces very high its almost an impossible effect. In real life hats don't bounce that high from one step.
In this scene Donald is stretched extremely by the shaking hands part. That is plausible by we do shake a little in real life, But in this scene Donald is shaking and stretching so much to a exaggeration point which would be impossible.
In this scene Donald's cousins next is stretched because he ate so much. Of course your next would probably stretch a little if you ate a lot in one bite. But Donald's cousin is stretched like a accordion to an impossible state.
In this scene Donald's Cousin is sucking in air to get peas that are really far away. Plausible in the fact that you would need a enormous amount of power in sucking the air for the peas to come like that. Impossible for the fact that the peas are so far away.
In this scene when Donald's cousin puts the bread in the tea, the tea was drained dry. True that the bread would suck some of the tea, but there would be to much tea in there and the bread would become soft and droop some tea back in  so it would be impossible to completely soak the tea.

Lava Landscape

In this project we made a 3D effect on a 2D area. I had a little trouble in moving the columns in a neatly pattern. I made the effect better by adding new textures onto the pictures. I made the video backwards so I will update it later to make it better.

The scope of the project was to make the video as interesting as possible while following the 6 shot system and a-b sequencing. The idea formed in my head because I wanted to do something different because everybody else usually goes for comedy, I decided to add a little scare to that comedy. This was more of a Chase scene and occasionally dramatic scenes. Our storyboard was created from idea that a scary scene would create action. During the video process, video shots should have quicker. I learned that using the camera without the tripod was harder. During the editing I found many flaws that I would like to correct but don't have the time.

Collaboration was great but at times we would argue how the scene should be. We finished the video production before the deadline but, I would have liked more time to make the scenes better. I would have made the scenes shorter. In one of the scenes the hood falls off, and in the next scene its back on so that's another thing i would change. Keep my idea's up because I liked my idea of this short film.

Keeping the scenes running smoothly and quicker cuts would make my short film better. I thought that overall my video was not to bad. I would work harder to get my scenes to run smoothly and have them for the audience to see more enjoyable.

• A hero adventuring the grassy plains.
• My thoughts about my character was to make him look tough and I made him that way because I thought that it would look pretty cool.

(Upload your drawing)

•Yes, I forgot how to move the leg's so I asked you how to make the leg's to make it look as realistic as possible.
• No, my key frames were nice and even because i made them part a second.
• Write 3-5 sentences about how you created the keyframes and the timing of each step.
(Upload the timeline)

With the overall animation:
• What are three things that you can say you learned about making your character walk?

• What was one issue you had while making your character walk?
• If you could redo it would you change anything?
• How do you feel about your work/animation?
(Upload your Animation)

After the critique on Friday:

• What are two things that the class said about your animation? One Good and One Bad.
• How are you going to fix the issue? Was it dealing with, keyframes, timing, ease in/out?
• Post your re-rendered animation at the bottom of your post.

15$ minimum wage

The 15$ minimum low wage.

My thoughts of this outrage is that they deserve to have low rate of income for what they didn't do before. Your thoughts might be the other way but let me explain. 15$'s for minimum wage what is wrong with these people.

Other people have worked harder to get a job that is payed less than 15$'s. I mean if you want to get more pay then work hard and then get a different job. Is it really hard to get a new job. You should know that I got a job as soon as I finished lifeguard course of training.

These crazy people must be out of their mind to think that kind of pay rate is right for minimum wage. That's asking for more than DOUBLED their pay rate. God gave them a chance when they were little and they should have worked hard then.

Paying the people 15$'s an hour would make restaurants have less employees and a bad customer service for lack of employee's.

One part of human nature is Laziness and people who work at minimum wage DESERVE it because they didn't work hard enough for the extra pay. People with minimum wage jobs got it because it was an easy job to get and didn't have to work hard for it. 15$'s is WAY to much people then can buy WANTS not needs.

I've seen good causes for 15$ hours but these are just my thoughts.

These are my thoughts.
The video I was created even though i was gone that day. I should have used the come in late leave early technique in here. I used all the shots in the movie. Considering that I didn't do it perfect all in all i think i did allright.

Close up hands is to show detail in what the man is pulling out the money
Close up of face shows emotion of toughness because he was the thief

medium shot shows thief's making deal and you can see the background showing what they are doing

medium shot showing action of cop person getting up and then running later on

medium shot showing more running action and background in which he was in
medium shot is showing action of running in intense motion
medium shot shows them coming and making a deal across and viewers can see where they are going

wide shot shows broad perspective of everything around and the cop person moving across

The original worm

Originally I had this worm built in Photoshop. Then I used this into after affects as a composition.
I used the puppet tool to move the worm 's body. I used the null void to move the worm across the image.

I made this worm from the tutorial. I used the puppet tool to move the worm.

Chris Hwang bounce

I finished my bouncing ball. I made the ball squish by changing the scale size. I used scale in and out to make the bounce more smooth. I created the image in Photoshop and then used it as a composition in after affects.

I learned in my video that the close up should have been more closer to the face. My favorite shot was the only one shot that I did myself which was the close up of the the hand reaching out for the book and taking it.
